Loretta Retires
I would like to take a moment to share with all of our valued spa guests my journey with an amazing lady and very talented holistic spa therapist – “Loretta Pedersen”.
I first met Loretta at the Tigh-Na-Mara’s Resort Grotto Spa. Loretta was hired there to practice in her areas of expertise and she excelled by fast becoming a lead body therapist. Many travel writers including the Toronto Globe & Mail wrote her up. After my departure from the resort and returning to Victoria to open the Ocean Palm Spa in Sidney, Loretta applied for a position, and without any hesitation we welcomed her with open arms. It has been a wonderful privilege having Loretta on board the last seven years. She has devoted herself completely to her services and co-workers, and we are going to miss her so very much. Loretta’s dedication and her healing hands will always be felt at the spa.
Today I booked an Ocean Palm Spa stone massage & Reflexology with Loretta, as I needed to experience one more time her nurturing hands. Oh, what a wonderful feeling. I melted into the warm massage table, and as I was in her capable hands, it was serene, so spiritual and deeply relaxing. I drifted into a safe and so much welcomed 90-minute treatment of bliss!
Loretta has spent the last six months training and mentoring others at the spa, including Eleni and Christina in stone massage, Sami Zen spa ritual, Reiki and Reflexology, so her talents will be highlighted in others.
Thank you Loretta for all the love and light that you have brought to OPS and the people you have treated and made such a difference to their lives. We wish you every happiness today and always. You will always be with us, and look forward to updates through Ocean Palm Spa Facebook.
With warmest wishes,
Lesley Langfield
